NFL Preseason Week One

There were 17 games including the Hall of Fame Game. It was also the only neutral site game. The theme in week one was scoring. There were a total of 703 points scored which is an average of 41.35 points per game. It seems the offenses were ahead of the defenses this time around.

The favorites won 7 games and the underdogs won 8 games. Two games went off as a pick'em.

Home teams won 8 games and visiting teams won 8 games with HOF game the neutral site game.

Over the total was 11 games and Under the total was 6 games.

The updated NFL coaches records against the spread in preseason games are below.

There were three 200+ yard passers. CHI Tyler Bray, LAC Geno Smith, and CLE Baker Mayfield

There were two 100+ receivers. MIN Roc Thomas and GB Marquez Valdes-Scantling

There were two players with 3 sacks. ARI Cap Capi and BAL Kamalei Correa

The biggest injury updates: 

WSH RB Derrius Guice (knee) placed on injured reserve
